METAL LASER WELDING SYSTEMS

THE IDEAL SOLUTION

Laser welding of metals represents an ideal solution for the realization of all those components that require high quality associated with high productivity. In fact, the laser allows for thin and penetrating welds, free of aesthetic and functional defects. The latest generation of fiber lasers further emphasize this aspect, allowing the best results in the sector. The experience of Progetto Laser is based on a decades-long background of successful projects, with hundreds of welding process and plants solutions being developed.

Through current partnerships, an IPG YLS5000 fiber laser source is available to carry out the development of processes and production activities for third parties.

STANDARD SYSTEM

SMALL system for welding small components consisting of:

  • Anthropomorphic robot;
  • Spindle for piece rotation;
  • Laser source up to 5kW;
  • Welding head with coaxial camera;
  • Roto-tilt table (optional) with two spindles;
  • Class 1 coverage.

SPECIAL SYSTEM

Progetto Laser develops special laser processing systems according to the specs of the components to be welded, integrating the most suitable automation solutions for the customer:

  • Multi-axis Cartesian systems;
  • Anthropomorphic systems possibly integrated on external axes;
  • Remote welding systems.

Main application fields: Automotive (Sheet metal components, Gears, Structural Components), Energy (tube bundles, exchangers) and many others.

PLASTIC WELDING SYSTEMS

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

Laser welding, whether simultaneous or quasi-simultaneous, represents the state of the art of industrial welding systems for an innumerable series of components in thermoplastic material which, for functionality or aesthetics, require particular geometric requirements and / or the total absence of smudges.

Thanks to our technology it is possible to weld almost all of the polymers with themselves and with similar polymers (e.g. different types of polyamide) and polymers with compatible characteristics (e.g. PC / ABS on PMMA).
Using appropriate additives it is also possible to weld components of any color, even black on black and transparent on transparent.

STANDARD SYSTEM

QS-Plastic system is proposed for plastic welding development:

  • Fiber or diode laser source with power up to 400 QW;
  • Galvanometric scanning system;
  • Pneumatic pressure system;
  • Linear transduction control system;
  • Rotating table (optional) for loading / unloading in masked time.

SPECIAL SYSTEM

For special applications Progetto Laser can design or integrate any optical system produced by third parties, integrating it with the most appropriate robotic solutions, thus creating unique and calibrated devices according to the customer’s individual needs.
